this is my half of the art trade im doing with its a D.Gray-Man related trade...incase you hadnt guessed lol.
oh and if you wondering, the title came to mind when i was reading the manga, and theres this scene were he gains his senses back after his left eye is injured. and of course that eye is cursed lol, and well not that allen is actually cleansing himself because he still has the cursed eye...i just wanted to reflect the idea of allen being an exorcist and cleansing the soul of akuma with his cursed eye being used to aid him. (and of course that would have made no sense to you if you dont know the story of d.gray-man) lol.

im really happy with how it turned out because i just kind of had the idea found a bunch of references and went crazy. the playing cards and the butterflys (also known as Tease) are symbolic to the series, oh and so are the checkers. which im also UBER proud of. because they took me forever lol. the roots and water sort of thing were kind of random, but if i remember correctly they were supposed to symbolize his roots (as in the fact that he was cursed by Mana in akuma form)
this was done in some random outlining pen and Coloursoft pencils.
EDIT: NOOOOO! i just realised the colour is all faded in this version, the version i have on my computer is better *sobs*
oh well..im actually thinking of throwing my scanner out the window.
